>>Solar Power Systems
We supply the complete power systems and the component parts for meeting energy requirements of commercial enterprises, institutions and hospitals etc. We design, procure and install the appropriate equipment considering the needs of the customer.
We offer solutions that harness Renewable Energy and these solutions are available for both off-grid (rural) and on-grid (urban) applications.
In off-grid applications , our equipment and appliances provide the primary on site source of electric power for rural areas. We also supply power for big and small commercial equipment in the communications industry like signal masts, radio repeater stations and
pay phone respectively. These systems are referred to as “Stand Alone Systems” and are subdivided into DC – Direct Current Systems, AC – Alternating Current Systems or AC/DC Systems.
Stand Alone DC Systems
These are usually small and more specific systems that can run only DC appliances like Lighting points, small radios and phone charging and are suitable for areas that are not serviced by grid power lines.
The AC/DC System, this system has all the above, DC System components plus an Inverter. A solar module generates DC and the battery stores it in the same format. However, some equipment like most Colour TVs, HiFi Systems, Fridges, Computers, etc require AC, Alternating Current to operate. The inverter converts DC to AC and supplies it to the connected loads. In simpler terms the inverter steps up the voltage from are comprised of the Inverter Charger and the 12/24 VDC to 230 VAC.
In on-grid applications on the other hand, our equipment/appliances provide a renewable source of alternative or supplemental electricity source and provide reliable back-up power in the event of a utility outage/load shedding, upsurge or failure. Our offerings here are subdivided into Power Back Up Systems and Hybrid.
Hybrid Systems
Hybrid Systems are comprised of Backup system components plus solar module(s) with its charge controller. By definition a Hybrid is anything that is a mixture of two very different things. In this regard we combine the grid or generator and solar modules to charge the batteries; this is because we realize that the grid power may be unavailable for some days rendering backup system useless. In such an event, the solar modules recharge the batteries and you will never suffer from power outages. Some inverters are equipped with auxiliary functions which can start a standby generator, making the system fully automatic and user friendly.
